Jade Matthies holds a Bachelor of Arts with distinction in International Studies and Political Science from Simon Fraser University. She earned her law degree at the University of British Columbia, where she was, among other things, a Clinic Head with the Law Students' Legal Advice Clinic. She articled with Funt & Company and has remained on as an associate.
Jade has appeared before all levels of court in British Columbia. She has also acted as lead counsel before the Immigration and Refugee Protection Board of Canada and the Mental Health Review Board of British Columbia.
